Poses that take flight

Curl up in your own aerial hammock and explore your yoga from a new elevation, take flight! Aerial Yoga offers authentic yoga, with the support of a silk hammock to explore, refine, and advance traditional yoga positions, both in the air and the ground.

This class is structured just like our traditional yoga classes starting with centering, warmup, posture focus, inversion and final resting pose/savasana. This unique form of yoga is a total body workout, increases strength, improves circulation, reduces stress (because it is so much fun), lengthens the spine, increase range of motion, improves memory, aids digestion and is a ton of fun.

 

Rules

{1}  All students must reserve their spot online (space is limited) 
{2}  There is a 24-hour cancellation policy
(If you register and are unable to attend then you must deregister at least 24 hours before the class or you will be charged for the class — we do not do this in our other classes)
{3}  The classes max out at 7 students
{4}  The workshops max out at 15 people

First Timers

You must complete the required prerequiset *Aerial Yoga Workshop before you sign-up for a class (sign-up for the workshop online) to learn the basics of Aerial Yoga.

*Aerial Yoga Workshop:

  • Offered several times a the month, check the Schedule to see when the next workshop is available
  • 2 hours long
  • Will be partnered with another yogi for support + help

What to bring:

  • Bottle of water
  • Hand towel (for sweat)
  • Fitted pants and top so the practice is smoother and safer
